DX Career Question

BG, if you can handle the pilot lifestyle (more susceptible to industry cycles, many nights away from home etc.) I think you should go for that.

I think the big question is - where do you want to be in 10 or 20 years?

Left seat, big aircraft, decent paycheck? Go fly.

Airline management? Go into dispatch and work on a business degree.

Good pay, benefits and job security? Run screaming from the industry and go be an actuary or something.

LOL, that's great advice....I really don't like the idea of being away from home...and I hate staying in motels/hotels. I would like to get a masters someday...maybe options two is the way to stick with. I just realized...it's been over two years since I've been at the controls of a plane! Yikes!
