People need to read the whole story....did SW buy $464 million stock buy-back during last year's qtr.?
Anyone think they might be trying to keep wages in line?
If they had reported 3/4 billion profit in one qtr. the Dem's
would have them before a congressional hearing for overpricing!!

The stock buy back is only an asset transfer. It effects only the balance sheet, not the P&L. Thus it has no effect on quarterly profit.
