Duke Elegant ??

I see on pprune that the guy called "Duke Elegant" ( Les Maike ) died. I've seen a passing reference to him on this forum and assumed that was just his screen name. Perhaps he was famous for the books he wrote rather than anything here. Anyone know more about him ?

You haven't noticed the 30-page thread that was continuously bumped to the top for nearly a year before the mods made it a sticky at the top of the General section? You're missing out...it's great reading. RIP, Duke.

It's my understanding that he was a fellow Canadian pilot. His posts became a big thing over on the avcanada.ca forums. He always seemed to generate a big buzz anywhere he posted! RIP.
