Hi!

If there are any NWA pilots reading this, I'm looking for a crashpad close to YIP (DTW). I just got hired at USA Jet (willow run airport) and need a place close to YIP.

I'm commuting from GRB on NWA, and will probably be in the pad only about 5-6 nights/month, as I'm on the Falcon-20, and we're on the road most of the time we're working.

Thanks!

Cliff

You might want to check the message boards at the crew rooms for Pinnacle, Mesaba, and Northwest. Next time you are in the airport, have a pilot from one of these airlines escort you to the crew message boards. Also try getting in touch with some Spirit or Champion guys if you know any.

"The Barrington" seems to be a very popular crashpad/apartment complex. It has a 24-hour shuttle to and from Metro airport for around $3 per ride. I don't have the address or phone number, but just drive down there and you should be able to get some more info. There is also the Concord Club and some others. I don't stay at any of those but I looked into them. Crashpads are a dime a dozen at this airport. I've never seen so many crashpads at so many locations around an airport before. They have to be in the hundreds, if not over a thousand.

Good luck.
