I'm heading to Key West in a couple of weeks. Has anyone ever taken the seaplanes to the Dry Tortugas National Park? I've seen the website and am familiar with the costs, but wondering if anyone has had any personal experiences going there.

Thanks!

ahhhhhh

I applied for a job with them years ago and they said they have very little turn-over (doh!). I would love to track down a flying job like that.

Is that the old Seaplanes of Key West operation with C206s & 208s? I wouldnt plan on getting any good jobs down there...EYW seems like a place where old airline capts go to die. :)

English, Personally Id go with a charter boat instead and get some fishing in while im there. Have a good trip!

My wife and I took the trip a few years ago. I rode right seat in the Caravan amphib, but the pilot had no interest in engaging in aviation small talk (or allowing me to get a little Caravan time). <g>

The destination island is interesting and historic, and there's good swimming/snorkeling available.

We enjoyed it a lot and recommend it to friends. I don't know what it costs, our trip was a gift.
