Hey all,

I figured it may be worth a try to solicit this out there in case there is someone out there who knows of a company looking to dry-lease an airplane.

I work for an investment firm who has respossessed a CL-600. Now, this airplane has been sitting on the ground for over 4 months. One option the company has looked at was to have someone manage it. The other was to have that plane managed themselves and piggybacked on someone's 135 certificate. Either way, there is no profit until after 55+ hours of monthy usage. The third option is to find a company willing to be partners with our company and dry-lease the airplane for a period of time.

If anyone knows of a company willing to do that, please let me know and I can send them the details. Otherwise, my company who only sees this from a $$ point of view, will be willing to let it sit as they pay their monthly principle, insurance, etc. on it, hoping to find a buyer willing to buy it at their price. And I KNOW, that ain't happenin soon....... and lord knows, that will eventually be the more expensive route due to future MX costs to get it back in flying condition...

is this N618AJ @ KJQF?

it is leaking some substance (appears to be oil) from the right engine. our flight school is in the same hangar it is stored and we can't figure out what is coming from this engine. oil is my best guess.

leak

That sounds about right, 4 months of sitting will do that. Check hydraulic fluids too.

i think it is crying from not being run.....

pretty interior too. they left it open and we took a peek. nice cockpit, although all steam no glass.

hmmm, u sure it's not the CL600 parked at KSNA? lol.... talk bout similarities... although this one has been upgraded with over $1M worth of equipment, RVSM equipped, dual FMS, Airshow 400, brand new interior.... the works!
