As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with an 8AM beer after a full night of work. Sitting on the porch with a beer (or two) in my hand(s) watching the poor suckers drive to their office jobs is great... it's like what a captain once told me, "If you can't drink with someone else, by God you better drink alone!"

Actually I follow a simple rule when I'm on the road which helps me, I try to only drink if I'm alone or with someone.
