Hi,

About 3-4 years ago I got 3 tickets. Two non-moving violations and one speeding ticket. The speeding ticket was removed because I went to the class. Will the airlines be able to see these? I'm trying to do a records search but the service says that it cannot show tickets that have been removed from the school. Thanks

YES

The Clerk of Courts keeps a record of every citation, misdemeanor, felony etc. They have an abstract of your history and keep it forever.

The laws may be different in your state. In my state, anyone with $15.00 can get a copy of anyone’s Abstract.

I sent the state a request of my driving record and it only went back 3 years and therefore was clean. NDR was clean. I know that I have had tickets and asked the States attorney were I could find a record of this. He walked me to the Clerk of Courts desk and showed me how to obtain it. EVERYTHING I had ever done. Driving and non-driving. It was all their back to the age of 14 when I got my first curfew ticket.

If an application asks you to state the COUNTY in which the offense occurred you can bet that they are going to get the Clerk of Courts abstract. The gal at the Clerk of Courts office said that there are companies that do the request for employers. She says they send them out everyday.

Most companies are getting FBI records and I am waiting to get mine back. You have to fill out an FBI records request form, go to the Sheriffs department and get ID’d and fingerprinted and send $18.00 to the FBI Records Request Dept. The form says 3-8 weeks. I am pretty sure it will be everything that is on the Clerk of Courts Abstract.

Hope all this good news helps.

Mark
