I am trying to find some info on the Dornier 328J and the Jetstream 31.

Does anyone have any old manuals or anything that can help?

My company is looking into buying a J31 and a D328J and we can't find any information that is any help.

Thanks.

PM me if you have any of this.

Just dont do it!

Friends dont let friends fly in a J31! There is a reason that thing is tapered at both ends! :)

J32 - MTOW 16204, MLW 15609, Max Fuel 3200lbs (I think), Tough to find an alternate in range for medium haul flights if destination area is crappy.
Keep the rudder trimmed so ball is slightly off center, then keep your foot rested on that rudder pedal - makes a "poor-mans" yaw damper.

D328 - Great plane as long as the boots dont rip, and the engines don't get over-temp'd. AWESOME climb performance!!!

I'd have to go digging to find exact numbers for the J31 but basically it was a very slow and if even close to full a very short range airplane. Put it this way 10 pax at 11000 ft in the arrival area, max power and we were getting about 190kts indicated.

If you are hell bent on a Jetstream.. spring for the 32 more power and a 250kt redline (downhill)
