This guy has a serious credibility problem.

"Payment for services MAY BE feesible"??? it is spelled feasible.

And to anyone answering this, I would hope that you would negotiate that payment being certain and in cash. Anyone so desperate as to post something like this here, I would suspect has no ability to pay for what they need.

Here is what the reply to an email was:

Well, in case you were wondering, my company is called Dreamwings Design. We create simulation aircraft projects for profession pilots to use and train on all around the world. What we really need is a 3-view of the aircraft, cockpit documentation, and exterior documentation (i.e. landing gear assemblies, bays, flaps, engines) If you have any flight manuals or anything that you are not using, all info can be sent to me. If you can do this, it would be great.

Best Regards,
Steve Andrich

Guess they don't want to work with the manufacturers? Something for nothing I guess is what they want.

Or perhaps he already tried to get info from the manufacturers and they wont give it to him for a reason?

HA. Sure. Simulation aircraft projects for professional pilots to use and train on around the world? How about Microsoft Flight Simulator??

Yes, it's the same place. My Sandrich? Andrich? is in the "contact us" section. Hmm...

Mabye this guy will be a schmuck like the one that needed "Technical Advisors" for his CRJ project. They ask you questions, then tell you you're wrong and stop e-mailing you.

So I go and download the "finished product" and it's CRAP.

Is trying to get information such a **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ing horrible thing around here? Gees, I just need information about the aircraft, but you people, being the bitches you are have to make the biggest deal about it. Just needed some help, but I guess thats too much for someone to ask to "pro."

-Bart, 1) I said payment MAY be feasable because of the fact that im 15 years old and paying for something like this is a bit out of reach for me.
2) I tried contacting the manufacturers of the Dornier 328, but too bad, a website for Fairchild Dornier fails to exhist.

So thanks everyone for being smart asses, and ill think about the comments I may get to a curiousity post next time I try it.

For 15 you sure have quite the mouth....

And considering the current climate, just randomly asking for aircraft information is a big flag-raiser. Mabye if you would give more than cryptic information, you'd get more responses. Maturity goes a long way pal.

BTW...how did you manage over 700+ hours at 15???

712 hours total time at age 15 with a "PPL"? Wish i had that years ago.... I think the FAA age limit for solo was 16. They must have changed it i guess...lol

A bit of advice, when requesting infomation from those that have aircraft "access" in the post Sept 11 environment we all now live in, its a good idea to identify yourself and detail the reasons you would like the info. Many "Pro's" are skeptical to give any info out to anyone not on a need to know basis. I think the passengers we fly daily would agree.

712 hours at the keyboard, maybe?

Sandrich,

At 15, you're pretty ambitious to be developing aircraft models for FS and other sims. My hat's off to you in that regard, but I doubt we'd be able to give you any of the information you need. If you need external dimentions, color schemes, and cockpit layouts, the press releases from the manufacturers would be the way to go.

If you need pertinent Scope issues, or gripes about kit bag stowage, air conditioning capacity, or the comfort of the flight deck seats, we'll be able to help you though.

How about programming a flight model for the Saab 340 for CFS2? Give it twin 20MM cannons, so I can dust some Zeros!

My fault

Sorry for any confusion I may have cause or any questions I may have aroused. Sorry for the abusive language, its just that, I got a little fustrated, being that all I wanted was some information, and most make fun of it, just like on the other posts. Someone said that I was asking to get something for nothing, which is incorrect, I was willing to pay over $300 for the information I was requesting.

As for the information I gave that you were questioning, about my logged hours and certification. I am currently working my way towards my PPL, so I just put PPL on the required field. I have an uncle who owns a Piper Seneca II and flies for the Coast Guard Auxilary, Flotilla 12-8. Ive been flying every other flight with him for 3 or 4 years now. Its quite interesting sometimes, being that we occasionally get organ donation transplants, such as hearts or livers, and sometimes sick patients that need to be transported over long distances. He only lets me come up with him on the nice days, so that I can do most of the flying. So, thats how I racked up all of those hours.

I just have one question though. Can anyone guide me to a flight shop or online store where I can purchase a Dornier 328 Jet Flight Manual? I have looked all over, maybe I cant find anything because of the company switch. I also contacted the new owners of the 328JET, Avcraft. They arent starting production for another year. So, any pilots that are still interested, you now know what I want and what its for, just post here.

Much Thanks, and my deepest Appologies,
Steve Andrich

Contact Ben Bartel out of VA. He is the new owner of the line and he should be able to get you what you need. I flew for him quite some time ago, very nice guy.

I have his cell number but won't give that out since I do not want to compromise his privacy, but you can get in touch with him through his Avcraft website. The information should be there...

good luck,
