Well never thought I would do a PFT,but sent a resume to Vision for the Falcon 10 capt. job. They ask for salary requirement so I put down $200,000 per year and asked for them to sign a two year bank bond for pay in full if there was any change in aircraft. Will let all know if they call,I am not staying home this weekend waiting. Mobs

Back in 1996 the company I worked for sold a Lear to Visionair, I got to ferry it up to North Las Vegas. Back then I looked forward to 2 days in Vegas!

So I bring the Lear up there and I'm sitting in the VP/chief slime ball’s office. He's trying to hire me on since he doesn't have any Lear drivers and I just happen to be typed and current. During our negotiations a phone call interrupts him and he starts to curse the phone caller, ending the phone call with "F#CK YOU, YOU’RE FIRED!" Then calmly turns his attention back to me and says "our chief pilot position just opened up, if you would be interested in that." Being polite I told him I'd think about it. My impression of this guy is that he was a high school drop out, somehow got an A&P, and somewhere along the lines stole enough money to buy himself into Visionair or use Visionair to launder his money made from other sources.

During my two days at Visionair I got the impression that this is one of the dirtiest, sleaziest operators out there. Seeing an ad like this does not surprise me in the least.

Regarding St. Louis: St. Louis is probably were the parent 135 certificate is located at and after going to Dallas for your C650 training ($14,000) you'll have to go to St. Louis for 135 indoc all at your own expense of course.

This is a very scary job! And what's worse is I'm sure he's probably got a couple of hundred resumes faxed to him. Such a sad state our industry is in.

ur right... total idiot!

and so are the suckers that would work for slave labor and for people like him...

I concur with the above posts. STAY AWAY from these sleazebags. The 2 brothers and another guy named Dave that run Vision are spineless creeps. This would be a bad job choice for any pilot. Save yourself a lot of headaches and money and avoid Vision Air. It is not a matter of if but when you will get fired by them. That is the way they do business. It is as simple as that. It would give me great pleasure to expose these jackoffs but I'll leave it at this. These pricks need to be banned from aviation. One word sums it up, "LOSERS".

Slime balls at Vision

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to these bottom dwellers. A good friend of mine got sucked into their web of lies while he was a flight instructor up in Provo. He bought is own CE500 type so that he could fly the Citation S/II that they are now managing. (Ironically, I have about 1000 hrs in that very aircraft when my company managed it for the scumbag that owns it. It is a total pile of junk, and the owner refused to get any work done on it, so our company took it off of our certificate. Best day of work I've ever had was the day it left. He took it to the A-whore brothers at Vision. You can't miss it on the Executive ramp at LAS. The tail # is N110LH, and it has a bright yellow stripe down it, sort of like a taxi cab). My friend also paid for his 135 checkride, his high-altitude endorsement, AND 200 hrs in the airplane. To make a long story short, he had them on contract to work a week on, week off. They tried to change the contract, and when he held them to it, they tried to get out of the contract by first saying that they never signed the original (even though he had been collecting a paycheck for several months). Then the chief pilot told him that he was just going to have one of the captains declare that he was incompetent as a co-pilot, because the contract stated that if this occurred, there would be no refund. Now there lawyers involved, and it is a real mess. Too bad, he's a great kid with a young wife and a baby daughter.

Is this the same Vision Air currently looking for people to pay $7500 to fly a Jetstream? It sure sounds like the same type of operation.

It really is a shame people keep supporting outfits like this.

Visionair

I believe I sent a resume into these guys recently BEFORE I saw any of this on here. Does the current Chief Pilot's last name start with a "M" and end with a "G"?

Looking for info

Does anyone know a Mr. Joyce that works at Vision? Just looking for some opinions...
