Does TSA still not allow jumpseaters in the cockpit?

None of this TSA BS is temporary until we elect politicians willing to take a stand against its bureaucracy and waste. Good luck on that one. :D

As for the question: on your own airline/codeshare, you can jumpseat in the cockpit, in conjunction with whatever your company rules are. On other airlines, it requires your airline and theirs to be members of CASS, which allows real-time verification that you're an active pilot.

My airline won't spend the money for CASS, so we're outta luck in that department. Ask your jumpseat coordinator for details about CASS, and if you guys are members (or are in the process of becoming members).

Supposedly the jumpseat thing will be resolved in the very near future. Key word: supposedly. Apologies to all the commuters who've been adversely affected by it.

Not at TSA= Trans States. Only Trans States pilots allowed in the cockpit. Hopefully this will be changed soon.
