agreed, but if hes got his sights set on FedEx/UPS majors, then caravan time alone aint gonna get him there

It won't hurt either, as long as he/she gets multi time. And to get on with Fed Ex, you need to know someone who is flying there and willing to sponsor you. That is the key these days.

There was supposedly some sort of thing in place where a Fed Ex Feeder guy could get an interview with Fed Ex, and talking with the management (both at the Feeders and the boys in Memphis) types...it is still supposedly in place...but I have never seen it.

...there may have been years ago, but according to the gal that runs WestAir, there is no such program now, and the upper levels at FedEx arent willing to start one anytime soon.

My info is current as of a few weeks ago. But I seriously doubt anyone will get on straight from a feeder...I heard it has happened once...but I don't think it ever will again.
