Do you get what you pay for when you hire a pilot?

If the starting salary is under 20K a year and opportunities are limited beyond that; does the quality of people flying up front begin to decline?

Perhaps to the point where you have two howler monkeys sitting up front saying ‘dude, grab a Pepsi and watch this!’ shortly before the airplane careens into the ground.

I think so; and the idea of spending all day in a small box with ‘dudes’ like that was a small factor in my decision to stay out of the airlines (mostly it was the lack of pay and crappy schedule)

Now flame on!

Anybody find any new joints with good barbeque?

I just went back to Little Richard's BBQ (yes ... that Little Richard) in EXX and it was even better than I remembered from the first visit. I love Texas-style BBQ when I lived in Killeen, and Georgia-style ain't bad, but I gots to have me sum vinegar'd up NC-style pig fairly regular or I ain't fit to live with.

:D

You guys are my Hero's, you can take a flame-bait thread like this and turn it into a BBQ Thread!!! WOO HOO!!!

GOOD WORK MEN!!!

I'm having BBQ for lunch...can't wait. MMMMMM.

In regards to the title of this thread, it's all you can eat, so I do plan on getting what I pay for...and then some.

The best in EXX was Hog City but it closed. Close second is Lexington BBQ on Business 85. If you really want to go for some good stuff and you can get Charlie to let you have the car long enough go north on New 85 to the Finch Farm exit go left to Hwy 62 (only a few hundred yards). Turn right on 62 and go about four or five miles to a left on Darr airport road. Take Darr airport rd until it ends restaurant on left corner of Darr and Surret. It is a little dive but the waitresses are cute and their BBQ is the best.

Moonlight BBQ is best, KOWB, Ownesboro Ky.

ANIMALS TASTE GOOD...Hog Wild in ICT isn't bad, also theres Buffalo Wild Wings that has some of the hottest wings around plus cheap draft beer (they call them "draws" out in the flat lands).

Go to Stephenville, TX (SEP) and take the courtesy golf cart to Hard Eight's BBQ. Best stuff I've had.

There is room enough for all of God's creatures...in this case there is room between the hush-puppies and the green beans.

Does anyone get this?

Room in the tummy between the hush-puppies and green beans, perhaps? Room for the BBQ (aka- God's creatures)??

He means room on the plate between the potatoes and greens.

Stamey's is awesome! And a big ole giant plate o' pig, too. Killer h'pups. :D

I haven't tried Hog City at EXX, but I used to ride by it going from my place in Thomasville to the former squeeze's house in Welcome. Looked like the lot was always packed. Must be pretty good. Must try it ... hhhhmmmmmm. :D

I went to the SE Cessna factory in Independence, and it had surprisingly good brisket and hotlinks at the cafeteria.

... For anyone picking up a SE or a new mustang in the future.
