JHW to close Aug. 28

Oh and I saw a Q400 manual in the maintenance truck in PIT. I also have fourthhand information from a new-hire that the deal is done.

Do the Colgan, baby!

Take the back row of seats out of a Beech. Load in a Saab elevator down the aisle, eventually bungee-cording it in. Figure out a W&B with the VP of Ops., Chief Pilot and dispatcher over the phone on a Saturday. Fly the part from Albany to Charlie West. Pick up bad elevator and return it to Albany.

Loading elevator: 2 hours.

Flight to CRW: 2:15

Unloading elevator: 1 hour.

Loading old elevator: 1 hour.

Flight back to ALB: 2 hours.

Time spent: priceless.

Now you're doin' the Colgan.

No. Having the "anykey answer" function enabled on your phone and crew scheduling calls when you are sending a text message is priceless.

"Capt. xxx, I know we already released you for today, but we need you to fly to BKW and ferry an airplane to ALB that the captain down there won't ferry to HEF."

Photo!!!

This photo was taken a couple of days ago in an “abandoned” hanger outside of PQI. Apparently there is a new hire class and they are getting a bunch of street captains for this airplane and 2 more like it. I don’t know where they are putting it but I heard it was for connection stuff out of Las Vegas for new US Airways??? Can anyone confirm this??

Yes, you're right, that is priceless. However, it did get that other Capt. gone. Even more priceless.
