If you want to see something interesting start counting the tatoos on all the Express carriers' FAs.................
JohnnyP said:I usually refrain from coming out and unloading on some other company, person, etc, but I cant help myself on this one, it was too good. I was pretty shocked at what I saw. I was traveling yesterday evening out of dulles, D14, (i had a plane ticket purchased for me, not nonrev/JS'ing, etc), and saw a bunch of MESA FA's hanging around the gate area, kinda looked like some kinda newhire orientation. (im pretty sure it was MESA, they all had the blue cloud badges). It brought regional airline sloppiness to a whole new level for me. These "ladies" looked just about as trashy as I have yet to see in this industry. They looked like a group of 15 year old's hanging out at a bowling alley, all proudly displaying ID badges (ripped, holey jeans, low cut hooker shirts, the works). Dont get me wrong, PDT had its share of sloppy garbage just like everyone else, but this was some busch league stuff.
Jack Mehoff said:did they have the bodies to pull off the low cut stuff, or were they the fat chicks in skinny girl cloths with rolls hanging out? I am sick of seeing fatties trying to pull off the low/tight look! .

808pilot said:jumping on an america west flight sunday night out of honolulu i saw about 8 mesa employees hopping a ride and not one of them were dressed in standby/jumping attire.....i will say that i think 6 of them were FA's and 2 were peeeealots......the pilots were wearing jeans, sandals and baseball caps and and the FA's were just as casual....in fact one of the FA's (a guy) had his ears pierced with black corkscrew inch long horns.....they were all flashing their badges around....
now, i'm the last person to give a $hit, but seriously.........somehow they got away with it......
in fact, the irony that i saw was that america west contracts aloha gate agents for their flights and the gate agents didn't seem to notice.....
i don't even know what i'm getting at....actually i wasn't all that surprised to see mesa employees looking and acting so half a$$ed......man they pi$$ me off....
D'Angelo said:This is exactly why not to wear a badge when your non reving. Its no ones buisness really. If the gate agent deems it inappropriate then you will be removed from the flight. Its quite simple really. I do not wear a badge when I non rev because quite frankly its no one elses buisness what im doing. Not that it isnt too hard to pick out airline employees though

Seahawker01 said:[rant] Do you remember when people actually got dressed up to get on a plane or if you don’t at least look at some of the old pictures hanging around the airport? Not to be an elitist but airports were not meant to replace the bus stop. My point is if maybe we quit looking like trailer park trash and put on a pair of real shoes passengers just might think about looking a little nicer when they sit next us in the back. If that happened maybe we could get away from being glorified bus drivers and back to being professionals. And they might pay more the $25 for a ticket. And we might stop this race to the bottom. And get paid like a professional again.
Oh and while I am at take off those friggin ids you dork! The downline already lists you as a nonrev so the F/As know and guess what the chicks don’t care. If you want to impress the chicks try not looking like you just rolled in from the truck stop and put on a shirt. [/rant]
Thank you I feel better now even if I know it will never happen

What Cracks Me Up The Most Is When They Come Up And Ask For A Ride They're All The Sudden Someone Else Other Than Mesa. They Will Say They Dont Like Mesa But Still They Work There And They Went To A Interview And Said Yes! Wow Thats All I Can Say. Good Help Them!
