Where do some of these people get off asking this stuff, am I wrong to find this offensive, unprofessional, and just plain wrong? BTW, their looking for an SIC as well, guess you have to "contribute" towards Initial and Recurrent for that position.

NO THANKS.

I bet they attract some fine aviators with that offer....

Yea…

I just email the rat and voiced my displeasure at his BS, also wished him, errr, well in his search then complimented him on his operation.

Rice, I'm glad you posted this. I was irate after reading this, but I refrained. Ladies & gents .... this industry needs to wake up and boycott these low-life. opportunist, operators. These people prey on the economic misfortune of others. I would rather "fly my desk" than work for this DA-20 operator.

I cannot wait for this economy to turn around so it bites them in the A**.

I feel like I'm some sort of pompous ass when I tell people that I would rather not take a sh*t job somewhere, making $10,000 a year with no health insurance.

...that rules out much of aviation...

Yep. It is. Thank God I'm gonna love instructing. I'd be more than happy to do it another couple of years to avoid this kind of crap.

I remember when this crap started about 7 or 8 years back with the regionals. Still don't talk to old friends about that. Talk about taking advantage of the situation.

We should all get slots for interviews and just not show up. Book up about a week of his time, then call just as the interview is supose to start and tell him to shove it up his a$$!!! :)

The best was the "pay to be an F/O" job. You would buy blocks of time to act as sic in a 414 or something! Great Idea!

Rice-
Take that Falcon out more often, I keep seeing it in our hangor and it makes me jealous.
