Not that competative.

I understand that some new dispatchers have a hard time finding a job, but that is not necessarily the case for everyone.

Most dispatchers who are furloughed from a major could not afford to go to work for a regional. Most regionals don’t require experience. If you are a hard worker, who is easy going, and smart, you should have no problem finding a job.
 
Any Eagle Dispatchers here?

Considering that the EGF dispatchers just had a "blue flu" day and ended up with whacking 15-30 flights because they have been working without a contract for now over 550 days, I'd say its a great place to work!

Starting pay, at least in 2001, was 9.50 an hour, I think...
