Out of my own curiosity, how many of you corporate drivers have dispatchers or flight followers that work up your flightplans, coordinate ground transportation, etc. I use the term "dispatcher" in a loose, non-part 121 sense. I know these positions aren't required for your type of flying, but curious how many corporates employ these positions. Thanks.

CRJ,

I work for a 3 aircraft corporate operator and we have a flight coordinator/scheduler that serves as a liason between the flight dept. and corporate HQ. She will schedule a/c, crews, arrange for catering, ground transportation, conference rooms etc. but the crews still do their own flight planning. Additional duties include monthly cost analysis and passenger utilization reports. No FAA dispatcher certificate needed. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

CRJ,
I work for a 5 aircraft operator and our two dispatchers do everything that Mercury talked about in his post. They also arrange customs for Intl trips.
