Dishonesty in the airline business goes back decades, it's ingrained in the management style. There is a requirement for the ability to lie yet do it with a straight face in a completely believable way. Every airline CEO I've ever met shares that characteristic.

The airlines may have different names now, but the same psychopathic narcissistic individuals work the revolving doors between them all.

So it's not the Delta difference?

To anyone considering employment here, I'll give my take on it, while the girls have their cat fight.
I am a 6+ year Pinnacle fo here. Our pay is capped at 4 years which is $37.36. We are parking airplanes and downgrading captains. In the end, we will have 81 900's. Im not sure where we are right now on fleet size but we have a lot more planes to park over the few more 900's we'll get.
Our ssp program is only for current captains. So all Fo's or down graded captains do not qualify. I would not put any stock into that program.
Other Fo's have asked upper management about our low pay, two answers almost the same. One was, Compass is hiring, I would go there. The other was, you still show up to work so why should we change it!
So in summary, there are much better places to go that will give you better pay and a better fighting chance at this game we call the airlines.

Good luck guy's

So well said. Our management has made it very clear that they don't want any of us around at Endeavor, and only about ~45% of us (average) at Delta mainline. It's actually more like 85% of the first couple guys, and 20% of the everyone else so far, getting us that 45% average. It's fine, not like I was getting the SSP anyhow (even though we were told ex captains could get a crack at it, but whatever). We all have our applications out, and can't wait to leave. Welcome to Endeavor if you want it.

I might add, if you see Barry Wilbur at training, thank him for his kind consideration and great help in this time of need for our pilots. It wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings if he stayed out of the crew rooms forever, endeavor endeavor endeavor. We can find the door on our own Barry, thanks for the kick while we are down.

The great thing about 150% open time pick ups for FO's is that it will earn you a few (just a few) dollars more than what your straight time pay was before the BK!

Was told there are 8 in the class in January, not 20. What happened? UND kids saw through our gimmicky crap?

Good news, we are losing 30 a month, that means parking 3 planes a month, which is what we are doing anyhow. Keep to the plan boys.

No thanks. I would rather watch them cancel flights than pick up more work.

If I insist what?

Oh I get it, this is your idea of telling this to my face. Hilarious!

I don't need anyone to do sh#t for me, because funny thing, nobody has ever said anything to me.

I doubt what you're saying even happened.

It was probably just a dream, you know, like you ever getting a job somewhere else.

For a guy that doesn't need this job, you sure have collected a lot of paychecks. Just remember, every day you are still here just makes you more and more of a hypocrite.
Hope you realize that.

Out of curiosity, are you going to turn down your ssp interview? After all, that is a part of the scab agreement you despise. Seems only right. If you really believe what you say, you wouldn't take it.

Can't wait to read your cute response with your lame nicknames!

hypocrite? really? you piece of sh1t!

You know, that you just never know. old stroy fits here I reported aboard CVAN-65 USS Enterprise in 1975. At that time civilian flying jobs a scarce. I meet this guy who is getting out, going to work for company doing overnight mail, paid $400/mo for a F/O's job, he had to use his GI bill for training in the right seat of the DA-20. The company must have had a gov't contract I thought with a name like Federal Express. He stayed at FedEx, ran across him at a CO's conference in the late 80's he was like a double-digit seniority number. All the preparation in the world does guarantee you are making the right choices. Shows you just never know about that job.

pilotyip. You reek of management. With all your ratings, your time seems a little low.
yes semi-management, low time for all those years between jobs until I found job security in the training department.

14,000 is actually a lot for anyone in the freight field. This has nothing to do with pilotyip, but I just wanted to say that in both the FedEx crash at Tokyo Narita and the UPS crash at Birmingham, AL both CAs in those crashes had approx. 8000-9000 hrs total time and both had a 20ish year career at FedEx/UPS.

So arrogant rose is wetting his cooter because we are bad mouthin endevour. They are scared that no new hire will apply and endevour will go bye bye. Funny, you voted on a 81 aircraft 7 year consession contract and expect people to show up?!? Mind you new hires have to work with idiots like you with a no fly list to mars? Get the fuak out of here. ATtn new hires !!! Do not apply or even think about endevour. Please apply at compass, or ******************** even republic! These senior pups just want you to show up from them to keep their jobs. They made their beds . Now let them sleep comfy in it!

Apparently some are under the impression they'd be hired simply if an effort was made. What one needs to realize is that Delta is looking for an individual they could actually spend a 10 day international trip with. It's not just a formality. You're talking about a potential $5 million dollar career over several decades. They aren't just going to hand that out to every Joe Schmoe. So yes Delta will turn down highly qualified pilots.
