What kind of insurance do the different airlines/employers offer for disabilities that prevent one from functioning as a pilot? I.e. what does one get financially if you get some kind of disease that does not kill you but keeps you from working either as a pilot or in some other capacity?

Our current contract has two levels for disability pay. Short term starts when you have been out for 14 days and pays 50% of your salary until Long Term kicks in at 6 months paying 67% of your salary for the duration of the disability or until age 60. We can also use sick days to bring the pay back to 100% for some amount of time.
