Wait until you are current. In my cover letter and resume I sent, I told them I had not flown in 6 months. They sent me an app

I don't get it. I have a friend who works with me at a regional, 5000 total, lots of 135 PIC, impeccable character, spotless background and they haven't even sent him an app. Meanwhile several poeple in this thread are not even current and get apps.

Scratching my head.....

Sometimes a letter of recommendation speeds up the receipt of an application. If your friend knows anyone flying for NJA, have the NJA pilot submit your friend's resume along with a letter of recommendation. I've done that for a few friends and it's always resulted in an application package being sent right out.

got the 'accepted' email too :)

it came about 8 days after application was sent back

i guess the clock starts ticking to wait for the interview ....

good luck to all
