I attended a seminar at Oskosh by a broker which was a good discussion on the buying and selling process, inspections, annuals, and many details. One item of note was the most critical logbook is your airframe/aircraft logbook. The engine logbook starts new at TBO, the prop is new at replacement, but the aircraft logbook, if ever missing, is a problem. He suggested scanning and digitizing it and keeping that process up to date. Always have a digital backup of your aircraft logbook!

Good to know as I have not done this to date and upon returning home will do so.
