Anyone know anything about the new Diamond Twinstar?

The specs look amazing.

Apparently it has a single throttle unit for both engines -- how does that work? Does it make for the easiest multi checkride ever?

Any idea when it will be available in the U.S.? Is there already a line of 500 people waiting for delivery?

The photos that I have seen show one lever for each engine. The FADEC (as I understand from the guy at Riddle on the JA for GA project) controls the power, and pitch of the propellers. It has a governor that only allows the props to go upto say 2400 rpm to reduce noise of the engine during takeoff. Also that prevents you from over-boosting the engine since it is also turbo-charged.

Thats about all I know on the diesel GA engines, all I know about the Twin Star is what I gleamed at Sun n Fun, since their website is rather sparse.
