Is anybody out there using a PDA to get a text wx briefing by dialing up the free Dyncorp DUATS 800 number?

I'm trying various software and connection configurations to do this, but I'm having limited success (using a Palm VIIx and the little palm modem).

I know there's some nice subscription wx services and web-based services available, but I'm trying to stick to my plain old dial-up text DUATS.

right now i use the palm t3 to get online through a bluetooth connection with my t68i. it is kind of slow but it works. back in the day i had the vii and i used the pqa from www.weatherclip.com it is 10 bucks a month but absolutely worth it. the program actually uses your duats subscription to carry out all its functions. check out their site and let me know if you have any other questions. and no i am not related to them in anyway, just think they have a fantastic program.

SUCCESS

I got it figured out - I'm now able to dial up DUATS WX with the Palm.

If anybody wants to know how I've got my Palm set up for this, feel free to send a PM.
