What a great site! It would be funny if it all was not so true! Good job who ever put it together.

Having flown for DHL Middle East for more than a decade, I came to realize DHL is not a "united" company..many, many fractious bits and pieces here and there under the DHL umbrella..including airlines..and they could care less about the USA side of things..my opinion is DHL will soon cease to exist in the USA and concentrate on the European HQ side of things..the Brussels hub is closing and moving to Leipzig Germany, (noise issues at the EBBR airport) they formed DHL Air UK (union-busting tactic?) Kalitta has a large contract carrying the uplift from EBBR to the Middle East...DHL is NOT an AIRLINE oriented company..they have two or three out of necessity...Best of luck to all of you...and a former colleague Capt. S. Norris DC-8 ASTAR..there is a huge pilot shortage here in the Gulf...

They have never been an airline company. This business runs on the streets and with the pick up and delivery. Flight is an evil necessity and much of UPS product never sees the aircraft unless one flies over the truck or rail car it is on.
