DHL rumors

Rumor #1. DHL is looking to buy 747's.

Rumor #2. DHL was thinking about buying Atlas.

Rumor #3. DHL was thinking about buying Kalitta.


You know how this sh!t gets started and spread. Is there any truth to any of these rumors or are people just bored and being annoying again?

By DHL, I think you are referring to Astar. I've heard those rumors too. They need to diversify as ABX took out two more Astar aircraft recently. One damaged by a K loader and another damaged by a tug.

I am confused. Who fly's for who. Astar for DHL or DHL for Astar? And where did Airborne go?

Heard Polar will be getting a big DHL contract to fly cargo out of Asia. The buy out was a hoax.

Some senior manager in BRU is apperantly put on the case of figuring out the longhaul bit!
I have heard from a Lufthansa Cargo pilot that there is a strong rumour that DHl is interested in buying Lufthansa Cargo!
I cant see Lufthansa sell it but you never know.
Our Crewrooms are full of DHL rumours ,(it keeps us going in the night).
Is DHL Managment in the US as anti union as they are in Europe?
