With your avatar and quote beneath, I think I'll pass...

Go to www.jet-jobs.com and look there.

Thanks!!

I looked at the website but didn't see Flightinfo on there. I had heard they were going to have a membership drive with a booth manned by UAL78, Eagleflip, Jacktron, and several members (Ty Webb, Chuck Yougourt, etc...).
Supposedly you could get signed up right there and not have to wait a day, ACTIVATION on site!!!! Plus I heard Webb and Yogurt were going to have a flame demo followed by a brawl at the bar!!!!

Keep me posted if you hear anything!!

Off of the top of my head, I can not think of any other profession besides pilots who will pay $200 to go to a job fair. Seems wrong to me.

I don't have a problem paying. It's a good place to meet other dudes, network, and get face time with major airline reps. I am a proud member of Air Inc!

just my opinion...paying sucks but in this day and age it's all about networking...too many guys feel they are owed a job... get out and network anyway you can..i know some guys here that met people at those jobfairs ..developed relationships and got recommended...200 bucks is nothing compared to the possibility of a good flying job..good luck uppercrust..but change that avatar and quote...

I believe that going to the DFW AirInc job fair in 2003 really helped me get a call from AirTran. If you can get an interview without spending the money, then by all means save the $$$. But in my opinion, it was worth it, but you have to decide for yourself.

Good luck, and happy hunting.

Oh, by the way,

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!

Kit Darby is a criminal. The promises he makes, the money he charges and the stupid suckers who pay it just never cease to amaze me.

I think not. Have you seen his resume??? Kit is exactly the guy I would trust to get my family safe on the ground when the going got rough (Emergency, etc..). A man of his skill and knowledge is somebody I trust and could count on to help me out (Job with a major). I have complete confidence in his product!

I'm very shocked that Air Inc. doens't have much to say about fractionals. Kinda looks like they are print the same old stuff from the 80's when they were FAPA.

Baja.

You sound like a red-neck to me! Why don't you send me the money instead of wasting it on the Kit Darby dog and pony show? Gosh, I used to be as dumb as this.....then I grew up!! :)

I signed up, went to ATL in Nov, and got 2 interviews in 2 months. Say what you will but results count.

Proof right above on flightinfo!!

I had heard Aitran will be conducting interviews onsite. Is this true????

Why not just pay the $10 cover at the gay bar? It's a lot cheaper than going to the Air Inc. gay pride convention.

Seriously...a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Those job fairs have netted plenty of folks jobs. You never know who is going to pop up at those things. But Upper...you need to have a bit more savvy than you're displaying here...you sound like you work for Darby, who, by the way, is just a guy trying to get rich off of other pilots. His products can be useful but cover all the bases. Many folks here will remeber when Air Inc was used as a propaganda tool by mgmt during Fedex' initial contract negotiations. Anyway...as Uncle Ron once said "...trust but varify"

if...you bring your fishingpole into SeaWorld
you think genitalia is an italian airline
you think the last words of the national anthem are " gentlemen..start your engines"
