The cargo outfits out in YIP are hiring. Ameristar, USAJet and Kallitta too.

USA Jet....pay is great for first year, upgrade is quick, good benefits. I put in an app 2-3 weeks ago. Either i didnt have what it takes or it just takes them alittle while. Not sure.

you should pm 'pilotyip' he works for them...

Local

Local means no home basing, you must have a crash pad or home in the 20 minute circle of YIP. We make no allowance for commuting problems. If two equal candidates appy, one lives in California and one lives in Belleville, the Belleville guy will most likely get the job offer. However after saying that not many pilots in Belleville are applying for jobs so the field is kinda wide open.

Thanks for the info. Yes, USAJet had been on my interest level, but I'm beyond 20 minutes away and really looking for a job that gets me out of crashpads. I'd like to be able to be home more often is my biggest goal.
