Designated Examiner Recommendation - NY/NJ/CT

I have a friend about to take his private pilot checkride. My friend is willing to do his ride anywhere within a 50 mile radius of the NYC area. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, thorough, professional, and fun examiner for the PPSEL ride? Thanks!

Joe Holt - Very nice guy who works down at lakehurst naval station. i sent one private and one instrument guy to him when i instructed at old bridge. i know he likes to do his checkrides from Monmouth (BLM) though. He is extremely fair and unless you are a complete moron who flies unsafe, you will pass.
