Does anyone know if I have to officially report dental implant procedure on my next FAA medical exam form 8500? Even though it's a simple procedure, the doctors consider it to be surgery.

Also, aside from grounding myself while and after taking the pain medication, is there anything else I should do? I'm only planning to report back to duty when 100% pain free.
