For those of you commuters out there, does anyone do the DEN-LAX Commute? I might be starting this soon. I am now doing DEN-IAH, which is tolerable at best. But I know that DEN and LAX are UAL bases so that doesn't help much. Any insight would be helpful. Also, if I go to a different LA airport, are there easy (relatively) ways to get to LAX? THanks in advance.

That route can be pretty bad. In a pinch you can 2 leg it going through ONT, PSP, SBA, SNA, or SAN. SkyWest has a lot of flights between those cities and LAX

Looks like there are alot of flights in big airplanes... I would call the UAL nonrev number and ask them how it looks on a general basis. I called them and told them I was thinking of starting a commute between SEA-LAX and just give me a big picture idea - the guy was more than happy to do it. The AS lady was too.

Between United, Frontier, and Southwest, you should have no problems getting to LAX.....going through the cities Viper mentioned would also be a good last resort. I personally wouldn't go to SNA, BUR or ONT and try to get to LAX by car...too much time and money.....
