I have an interview at Delta coming up. I have been studying the study guide put out by Delta. But the study guide is so vast, its basically everything youve ever learned in aviation. I was wondering if anyone has interviewed at Delta since they changed the test. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Got this from another web board.

75 Technical questions in75 minutes, mult choice. Lots of weather, descent planning. Then 240 question psych, then cognitive test. 3 on one interview 45 min to 1 hr. Heavy on past attendance, FA or Capt with booze, good/bad decision you made in air. Study all ATP questions, IFR handbook. Don't get too comfy with interviewers.

is it basically a staredown..(not to be too facetious)...first one to blink loses? I have a friend in new hire , he said the opposite..laid back and some laughs.

#42. Who would you like to merge with?

I already know about the study guide Delta has put out. I have been studying it extensively. But it basically is every subject of aviation. I was hopin to get a reply from someone who interviewed 8th of Jan. or later.

The technical test was supposed to have been changed on Jan. 7th to come out of a question bank of 650 questions, that come out of the study guide. It used to be a 150 question bank with a spot on gouge. The old test was 42 questions, the new test is also supposed to be 42 questions. The grading is supposed to be the same for both.

Delta sent emails out to applicants to inform them of the change. Which said the change was supposed to occur on Jan 7th.

So Im not asking for a gouge on the interview process. Just a specific question as to if anyone has interviewed this past week, what did they think of the technical test.

JoeMerchant is on to something here.
