Glad to hear it - I was surprised they pulled it.

Hartford isn't right next to NYC, but Connecticut is a relatively rich state, and it's got to be easier to drive to BDL than JFK or EWR to go overseas. Yet, it's probably easier to drive to JFK/EWR than drive to BDL, wait to board, fly to EWR, switch flights then fly to Europe.

Anyone know if it will be Deta pilots or NWA pilots flying the route?

It depends on what the trip planners think is more efficient. We have plenty of 757ERs too, and we announced new flights like RDU and PIT to CDG for next Spring also. Those might be done with NWA crews too. It will all be figured out in ATL.

Seems like it would only make sense to use an NWA 757A for the route. They fly a DTW-AMS segment to bridge the crews to AMS for all the other AMS-non US hub flights.

Let's not forget that route started last summer on NWA. NWA (DL) is bringing it back. Let's give credit where credit is due. This isn't something DL dreamed up.
