Palerider,

Think of it this way...... first there was Delta Express.... then Comair took over.... and now because of the Comair strike... they (DAL management) brought ASA in..... and now... they take Delta Express, and ASA out and move Shi- aqua in. Now ASA pilots get paid less then Delta Express and Shi-aqua pilots get paid less then ASA....... so guess who gets the flying? Its a catch 22.... Delta Express is less then Mainline Delta, ASA is less then Delta Express and Shi-aqua is less then ASA and THATS who gets the contract. So the mainline pilots bitch, then Delta express bitches then ASA bitches and then Shi-aqua heads for the bar for happy hour, fat, dumb and happy......... who's at fault here? not you or me... just management.... laughing to the bank...... you might think that you have a CEO or a Vice president...... but I hate to tell you this ..... all of them are being told what to do by DAL management..... because we're all DAL pilots...... whether your pay says it or not...........this is how they keep us fighting amongs ourselves. Think about it...................................................

SWA FO,

When I said that I thought maybe the regional guys should chip in too, I was referring to the interesting request from Leo for only the Unionized pilots at Mainline to get pay cuts. I know we are the highest paid currently, but our situation is alittle different right now compared to UAL, AA, USAir etc. If we are hurting THAT BAD, how about everyone chip in something? That doesn't mean 5% for us and 20% for them. Hey, we're all in this together, right? One employee group taking all the cuts (except the execs) is wrong in my opinion---and we are the ones with a contract. (At mainline)

Bye Bye---General Lee
