Close the shop down! How long can this go on? Each pilot group always waits it out thinking that things will go in their favor. It never does. Someday we all have to take a stand against all this.

Was this known to DALALPA during the negotiations or part of the new cba?
Yes....

Lee Moak came out at the end (after he repeated stated that they were not going to give up scope for anything) and said that none of the furloughed guys would be interested in flying those "little" planes for such low rates anyways. I'd like to see the pole this loser used to make his decision on. And then he claimed that he endorsed the POS TA and cave once again on scope so that they can SAVE the pension. Nothing but a bunch of spineless pric ks. Except for the 39% that knew this guys was full of sh!t. Enjoy your retirement.......... its not like this has never happened before to any other airline right???? And to the 61% at mother douc he.....read my first post.

Does that mean that the guys that are already retired stop getting their pensions/benefits?

Wow, this has to suck for the guys that are 1-5 years from getting thier bird hosed down. The few that elected early retirement are laughing all the way the bank.

Networ-King...WTF do you care anyway? You work at UPS now. Let Delta be an afterthought of your distant past or die young. Your choice.

Your absolutely right and I couldn't care any less about that place, but I still have to call a spade, a spade. Sad thing is, I have a lot of friends still waiting for the union to help get their jobs back. People think that 64 pilots getting recalled is a good thing, but in fact its the unions biggest failure ever. All the furloughee's were suppose to be recalled by August of 2006, but DALPA sold the furloughees down the river again and now because the TA passed and the company is way short staffed they only recall 64 and people are applauding the union. Can't wait till management comes back to the pilot group and says the 90 seater in a 76 seating config is not going to work so we are going to have to put the certified amount of seats in them to be profitable...... and thats when POS LOA 52 will come into play. Just a matter of time....

NWA is not far behind, i would bet my job on it....wait, i think i am already losing my regional job.......oh well.....why do i care....but good luck to you all....its crappy to be promised something in good faith then to have it denied

it will happen. And then the union will justify it by saying that they are already flying the airplane, so letting them have 90 seats won't change anything.

You are SO right. What a shame to let that 95% strike vote go to waste.

GL is looking forward to giving at the trough again.

I suspect what really happened is he gave up the scope to get the money for retirement. Oh, and we don't even know how that money will be distributed. Wanna guess how much the junior guys, who are the most affected by scope, will get?
