So, let me get this straight... They took the guy's trip to use for someone's line training, right?

And the company can assign him to ANOTHER trip within 12 hours of the original trip even though his original trip is operating as scheduled with a trainee?

Maybe I'm missing something in the translation. Either that, or Delta became a Sup. 121 Carrier when I wasn't paying attention.

Yep TC...

One of those fine givebacks that we gave in BK.

If you are removed for OE, they can give you new flying as long as it doesn't report before your original trip, but you must be notified 12 hours prior to the original report, if there is nothing on your schedule at 12 hours....you get paid and stay home.

Ex: ATL-CDG is on your line. You get told OE is on it.....and 13 hours prior to your scheduled trip you check and find a ATL-CUN trip on your line....you will fly that, but get paid for your original trip....

Back in the day, we just went home and got paid.......the company argued "productivity"....... it sucks, no arguing from me there.
