Delta received 100,000 applications for 1,000 jobs when it last hired flight attendants in October 2010.

Of the 11000 remaining 4000 don't have the weight/ height capabilities

7000 to go

2000 will be tossed for background check

1000, won't make the interview

800 will walk when they learn they are based in NYC but live in KY

Actually he is very close statistics wise for most jobs these days .Companys have a hard time trying to get qualified people into open positions .
