When my new hire class (April) went to hear from DALPA they told us that based on an estimated value of the combined company at 17 billion, the most senior guys could see 120,000 and the most junior guys would get about 56,000.

Take it for what its worth.

Was that before or after you drank the kool-aid?

I heard numbers like that thrown around too. Unfortunately the stock never got very high then nose dived. What they are telling us now are the numbers I posted above. Im not sure if the write downs affected this but could be. We just need to keep the stock going up and that will help but I dont think we will get anywhere near those old numbers.

If it is like the several other equity claims that we have received (all in exchange for other concession, it must be reminded) you will receive the equity $$ into your DC plan.

Are you sure about this and is it optional? Can we get in cash if we prefer?

No, it will be paid in "Delta Dollars" which you can use for Delta travel and at the Wendy's on Concourse C.

If you have a DAL number you will get the pay out so make sure that DALPA has your most current information. Every seniority listed pilot means even the ones that bypassed furlough.

If you look at DAL's and NWA's good will write downs over the last few quarters we are looking at a company in the ballpark of 9-12 billion.
I am sure that the stock will jump when we get DCC and the financial transaction takes place. ALPA just be ready to dump the shares before the stock tank again.

So juinor DAL gets 28,000 and Senior NWA guy with a pension gets 40,000 That is bigger BS then uga being ranked number 1. All we hear is this is a aquistion and not merger!! VOTE NO, this is BS. Oh by the way we DAL are funding the NWA penisons to the count of 26million bucks. VOTE NO, there is to much stuff that they aren't telling us line guys.

When the claim was sold, the firm which sold it for us--the same one we are using now--came into brief the MEC. You couldn't wipe the smile off of their face. They were afraid to set a min price at .25, and got an AVERAGE of over .60. Some sold at .85 on the dollar.

Believe me that they will be ready :)

Hmmm, OK then if you say so.....

Why don't you take a few minutes away from the FI board and call your union reps. They will lay it out simply for you to comprehend. They will also gladly answer all your questions.
