Menzies Aviation wins Delta cargo work

31-Mar-2008 : Menzies Aviation has announced it has been awarded the Delta Air Lines cargo handling contract at London’s Heathrow Airport.

The three-year contract will commence on the 30 March when Delta inaugurates flights to Heathrow, in addition to their current London Gatwick operation.

Menzies Aviation will provide full on-airport import and export cargo handling services to the airline.

The airline will operate three flights daily – two from New York JFK and one from Atlanta to Heathrow using Boeing 767 aircraft.

Mark Dugard, operations director cargo UK & Ireland, Menzies Aviation, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Delta Air Lines to handle their new London Heathrow cargo operation and look forward to a long and successful partnership working with them on this new and exciting venture.”

Thugs On Tugs strikes again.

"Brakes are set, cleared to disconnect, go to gang signs....see you out front."

Good luck w/ the Menzies! I can say they are better outside the US.

Baja.

Maybe they'll punch a hole in that LR.

The LRs aren't going to LHR---right now they are doing turns between JFK and BOM. They are replacing 777ERs that are now going to Shanghai from ATL.

Bye Bye--General Lee
