First thing is to get a lawyer. Noone has the right to decide your faith. That is unconstitutional!ACL is dead on...
I've tried getting some answers after being turned down. Told I failed the interview. Told I can never re-apply.
Written a few letters and have had friends (DAL Pilots~) look into it for me also.. no dice.
It's unfortunate. 3 individuals who don't know you get to decide your faith after a 45min interview compared to x amount of recommendations (Again, DAL Pilots~) who have known you for upwards of 10 years!
I don't buy into the fable that there is a pilot shortage. If there were, there would not be a policy as 'one shot deal'.
Goodluck
Always...
I busted my cog test first time...got another interview...
YOU are not ENTITLED to a job. It does not belong to you. Companies may hire whoever they want. Don't waste your time with a lawyer.
Guys, relax, I'm pretty sure the lawyer comment was a joke aimed at the guy who suggested that the interview board determined his "faith". I think he meant "fate".

Man, that sounds like a MASSIVE HR snafu. WHAT on earth would an HR organization of a company like Delta have to gain with actually telling an applicant WHAT portion of the interview they failed or WHY they were NOT being hired.
Geez...this is HR 101...you apply, you interview, THEN you either get a phone call or you get a FLUSH letter.
Simple as that, and NO need, WHATSOEVER, for the company to communicate ANYTHING else!
I highly recommend Emerald Coast Interview prep for starters. Good luck.

I am not sure why they are telling you if you failed the cog or the intervier, however, federal law requires employers to give a conditional offer prior to requiring a physical examination and prior to pulling a credit report. The law also requires that once you are given a conditional offer and a medical done and/or your credit pulled, that you must be informed as to the reason if the offer is later withdrawn.
