I would think that by operating Endeavor at current rates delta will more than make up for the money it paid for the purchase of the airline.
Pinnacle was almost making a profit in bankruptcy and that was with almost all of the Colgan pilots sitting at home making base pay untrained on a CRJ, Sending 140 pre merger Mesaba CRJ 200 pilots through almost full training again for an aircraft they were already qualified to fly (why not wait and just do a two week course when the fences went down instead of the 90 day course?), and the high amount of money Pinnacle was paying out to law firms for the bankruptcy itself. Some had said that without paying the law firms, Pinnacle would have been making a profit-and that was before our huge cuts in pay and QOL. Figure it out, Delta was very slick in all of this-their 70 million they spent most likely has already been made back.
