Could you tell me what you have heard generally speaking?
I have a buddy that is thinking of moving up his interview date if its a big overhaul, making all this good gouge useless

asa--If your friend is postponing his interview for ANY reason, tell him he's nuts.

Those 50 numbers he loses by taking the summer off or waiting to hear from SWA can be the difference between getting whacked in the next downturn or maybe not making Capt. before the music stops.

Get to a major as fast as you can. TC

I would second what the other guy said. If they do change the process it will take some time. The questions and tests that are used are bought. It will take time for finance to approve a different vendor, if that is what they want to do. If anything the process will change.
DAL will be having two classes of 25 every month. Getting on now can make all the difference in 20 years.

Rumor has it that in addition to the Min. flight time, you have to have "No less than 8000 posts on Flight Info." Any truth to this rumor? I heard this from a ramper's buddy who is a dispatcher's mom.

They actually make you fight someone. Sometimes a TSA, sometimes a ramper, you might get lucky and get a FA. They are looking for scrappy guys/gals who really want it.

One damn thing is prly certain...they have a new phsyc eval!

The eval is the same. It is what they are looking for that has changed. From the guys that I know who have been turned down, I have no idea what they are really looking for. The only guess I have is that they are looking for people that will do the right thing when no one is looking, because it is the correct thing to do. That is what I have heard others say as well. It really is anyones guess.

They want to see first if you will look good in our uniform. They make you "walk down a runway" and then ask you questions about a real runway and it's markings. An actual fan is blowing "wind" in your face too. One of the new interviewers is Tyra Banks.

If I could choose the interview process.........One word........

OCTAGON!!!

Do it the old fashioned way, fight for it. Top 3 get the job.

Ever shop for your interview "suit" at Dick's Sporting Goods?:smash:

You mean you don't have to speak Polish, be able to fence things like cigarettes, chocolate, pantyhose and sardines ... and know the intimate workings of a Kilo class submarine anymore?

I don't get it! It don't understand why Tyra Banks would be an interviewer. It doesn't really make sense. How could you tie her into the interview process? Are you drunk?:p

Wow, you really can't understand. If you re-read my post, I said "have to walk down a runway" (like a model, get it?) And Tyra Banks is the host of America's Next Top Model. It is amazing that you can't connect those things. Well, no it isn't.

Good try.

Instead of sim prep it will be all night UFC marathons, sucking down glasses of eggs, pushups in a double breasted jacket, and trying to figure out how to submit someone with a hat.

Wow, that really was clever and hillarious.....NOT. It doesn't really make sense. Maybe you could tie the two together, if you were drunk.
