Delta says the children -- unrelated and traveling on separate itineraries -- "were connecting through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Tuesday when they were put on the wrong connecting flights because of a 'paperwork swap,' " The Associated Press reports. As a result, a 9-year-old boy heading for Boston ended up in Cleveland and a girl booked to Cleveland ended up taking the boy's spot on the flight to Boston.

Which is another reason to never, EVER send your kids as a UM if you plan on seeing them again. I've seen this messed up so many times....

Delta uses a contractor that pays poverty wages to handle their special assists. They have that Dusty's Den but those poor kids spend a lot if time in the assist rooms on the ramp level with "people of questionable background" giving them no attention at all. The behavior and language those contractors use around little kids is inexcusable. Never UM your kids.
