You make an assumption, when you suggest the departing airline executives are going to other carriers. When John Dasburg departed from NWA as its CEO, he left to be the CEO of Burger King. What do airlines and burger joints have in common? I dunno, maybe the desire to have a CEO who can make money for them.....or not!
Now, Dasburg has left Burger King, and come back to aviation, to head up DHL in the cargo biz
