Just looking at the Delta app and wondering if they are serious about breaking down all you flight time by type (Single engine, retract, land, etc???) Seems like the app I am looking at is geared more towards the regionals than anything else...am I in the right spot??? or is there another part of Airapps for DL??? BTW I'll do the thing if its what they want, but I just want to be sure! Anyone????

There is a help page that you can link to from the application itself that explains very nicely how they want the flight time. Essesntially if you have more than 20 hours in any type of airplane, then they want it listed by itself. If you have a few hours in a bunch of different Cessna aircraft, then you can lump them together as "misc single Cessna". Lots of people fill out the app and don't realize there is a link to those help pages.

It is a generic app from Air Apps. It is just east to have it that way.
That said. DAL like to see you very specific on what you few. I guess it shows that you are meticulous in all things flying. It is a pain, but if it is done correctly it looks like you are putting your best foot forward.

I broke it down by type rating of aircraft and/or type of military aircraft. For my GA time, I broke it down by manufacturer and # of motors. I had Cessna singles, Piper singles, Navion, Diamond singles, Beech singles, and Beech twins a few others but not worth mentioning. They never asked about it. I didn't break down the manufatures to fixed vs. retract just engines. This worked fine and I got asked very few questions about my flight time. Got the conditional offer. I would recommend this even if you are not military. Do the individual breakdowns on aircraft requiring a type or if you have a lot of time in a particular aircraft type, like an RJ or 1900. Essentially I followed the advice/instructions given by airlineapps. Good luck and don't make it harder than it needs to be.

Break it down into individual aircraft types.

Being detail oriented and showing you put the effort into it to make it perfect speaks volumes in the interview.

Sadly it's not a joke and if you think that's bad, just wait until you see some of the testing they have you do if/when you do get called in for an interview. Good luck, it's a great company with a lot of good people.

Spend the time to make everything match up, it's not an easy task but one that is necessary. i spent 5 hours on my app a majority of the time reconciling my time to match the air apps format. it was worth it, in the interview not a single question was asked on that portion, everything matched. FYI: the tech test has changed up a bit. the wff gouge is a good base but 25% or so of the questions have been re-worded/numbers changes and about 25% are new questions. Do yourself a favor and STUDY: Ace the Airline Pilot Technical Interview and Mental Math For Pilots. Also STUDY high altitude aerodynamics, swept wing. Know your time/distance descent scenarios front and backwards, holding entries/headings/wind correction/inbound and outbound timing. Depend on yourself and trust your instincts and experience in the testing and you will do fine.
