16- 757/767 Atlanta
10- 767ER JFK
5 - 73N JFK
No MD-88 slots in this class. Were told to expect classes of 70 a month until the end of the year at least. Also there will be 60+ more new hires going into the 76ER soon in NYC and ATL

Safe doing what? Watching movies? Reading Ayn Rand, or Tolstoy?Good luck guy have fun be safe.
Safe doing what?
Safe sex? Lots of ER pilots score on layovers.
I wouldn't think a 1950 hire F/A should qualify as a a "score." Oh well, at least the sex should be safe.
How long would it take to hold anything out in SLC?

Like I said, the increase in pay is not worth 9-12 day trips.
100 ER positions went unfilled in JFK apparently
yeah, cause in Rio the only female avialable is a Delta flight attendant.
The longest trip in NYC is 6 days (SVO & CDG). ATL has the longer trips.
NYC will get the JFK--Sao Paulo--ATL--Sao Paulo--JFK trip next month. That is worth 41 hours I believe in 6 days. They are switching it to NYC crews because the 36 hour layover in ATL between the Sao Paulos is cheaper than sending 3 pilots to Manhattan for 36 hours in the middle of the trip.
And yes, ATL has some 9 day trips to FRA and LGW that originate like this: ATL--FRA--JFK--FRA--CVG--FRA--ATL and the same with London Gatwick. They are worth up to 61 hours in 9 days.(late start first day, and mid afternoon arrival the last day--very commutable)
Bye Bye--General Lee
What do you do the rest of the month? If anything.
Probably another 3 day trip worth 17-18 hours to get in the average line value. Most guys fly around 80 hours a month, with a little more in the Summer.
Bye Bye--General Lee
So I guess you would end up with about 18 days off. Guess there are pro and cons.
do they let new hires bid or s everyone assigned aircraft and domiciles?
!
So instead of asking where guys would rather be they assign it and then let people bid off before they are even out of training?!?!? This seems like a HUGE waste of money and time. Training someone on MD88 NYC then letting them bid 73 ATL while in training. If you are assigned a position in new hire class then you do not have a seat lock. So all these guys that have been assigned up to NYC can bid off on the next bid which appears to be in November.
