Delta 767 retireing to VCV

Just did a Navy trip into and out of Victorville, CA. On taxi out watched a Delta 767 being parked onto the Aircaft preservation line. I think it was a 200 model. Sad day looking at all those great ships sitting around the desert. I hope my new (and old) company doesn't have plans on parking many more aircraft, would be nice if the DC9 rumors are true about more coming out of the desert as well.

Yep... the last -200 was retired in late 2006.

Not true. It's still in service, last refurbished in MKE and STL. Now, it's about ten thousand beer cans.
