What's up with that Delta 737-700 that's up on jacks in IAD? Had some tarps covering the forward 1/3 of the fuselage.
 
That what they do in GA when they have a vehicle that needs worked on. Hell, thats what we do in MO as well. Everyone makes fun of Rednecks til they need their car (or airplane) worked on!

I was at recurrent last week and they said that it was hit by a service truck on the ramp. The airport didnt have a hanger they could use so they had to fix it on the ramp under a tarp.
 
Glad to know more about that plane... My FO and I noticed again yesterday and wondered about it's story.

I saw it too. There was one of those bug trucks next to it like in the movie Men In Black. Had the big bug on the roof and all. Maybe fumigating for bedbugs?
