First the Air Force will announce it is parking the A-10s, then the Army will announce it is taking over the A-10s, then the Air Force will announce it has re studied its decision and will no longer be parking the A-10s.

This has happened before because the Air Force does not like the A-10s, but keeps them to prevent the Army from getting into fixed wing attack. This has been going on for years.

They are still rewinging them (A10s) until Congress approves parking them. First to be parked will be A10s w/o the replaced wings.

Drones / UAV' are not designed nor can they do the same mission of the U2.. that's about all I say about that.... bad move keep the U2

A-10???????????????

It seems like an A-10 can get a whole lot more up close and personal to hostiles on the ground than a glorified F-16 can.

Hey Diesel dude, have you got any PRACTICAL experience with the A-10 airframe??????????:rolleyes: :angryfire:angryfire :uzi:
